Congratulations to SES on the successful $3.1 billion acquisition of Intelsat announced today.
RiosFerrer + Gutiérrez advised SES in obtaining unconditional clearance from the Mexican regulator, enabling the company to close the transaction and create a stronger global satellite operator with an expanded multi-orbit fleet of 120 satellites and an extensive ground network.
Our partners Ricardo Ríos-Ferrer and Fernanda Palacios led our team in Mexico, working in close coordination with Gibson Dunn to assist SES throughout the process.
